Through a series of creative exercises, perspective shifts, and real-world demonstrations, you'll discover how to capture beauty, emotion, texture, movement, and meaning in ways you may have never considered before.

Bring your charged smartphone and your curiosity.

CREATE YOUR PERSONAL MANIFESTO

Opening Day Exclusive

Before the workshops, before the movement, before the conversations, there is one question:

What do you want?

In this guided experience, you'll create a personal manifesto—a declaration of who you are, what matters most to you, and how you want to show up during this next chapter of your life. Through reflection, writing prompts, and creative exercises, you'll move beyond vague goals and create a clear statement of intention that you can return to long after the festival ends.

This is the official opening ceremony of the Festival of Whatchawant and the only time this experience will be offered.

Come set the tone. Claim your vision. Begin on purpose.

ART OF NOTICING

Smartphone Videography Workshop

You don't need a fancy camera to create meaningful content, you simply need to learn how to see.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll discover how to find beauty in ordinary moments, capture compelling footage with your smartphone, and tell better visual stories through perspective, movement, composition, and curiosity. We'll explore creative filming techniques, practice in real time, and train your eye to notice details most people walk right past.

Whether you're creating content for your business, documenting your life, or simply wanting to experience the world more intentionally, this workshop will change the way you look at everything.

Bring your charged smartphone. Leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a completely different way of seeing the world.

Offered 3X at different times of day. Choose what fits your schedule or the time of day you want to capture in: morning, midday, or golden hour.

GUARDIAN ANGELS

For over a dozen years, Kelly has been creating Guardian Angels (Rainbow Angels of Hope) from upcycled fabric, transforming forgotten textiles into meaningful keepsakes filled with love, memory, and intention.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to create your own no-sew Guardian Angel using fabric scraps, clothing, linens, and other treasured materials. Many participants choose to bring fabric connected to a loved one, creating a beautiful way to honor memories, preserve stories, and keep meaningful pieces of the past close.

Whether you're creating angels for yourself, as a gift, in memory of someone you love, or simply as a reminder of hope and connection, you'll leave with a handmade keepsake (or a few!) and the skills to continue making them at home.

No sewing experience required. All skill levels welcome.

Participants are encouraged to bring meaningful fabric if they have it, though materials will also be available.

A simple craft. A meaningful keepsake. A beautiful way to transform memories into something you can hold.

LETTER TO SELF

Some things need to be said. Not to anyone else... to yourself.

In this guided creative ritual, you'll write a private letter to yourself and transform it into a meaningful piece of art through layering, collage, paint, symbolism, and mark-making. Some words may remain visible. Some may disappear. The art becomes the container.

This experience is designed to help you reflect, release, honor a transition, or simply reconnect with yourself through the creative process. No artistic experience is required, and you will never be asked to share your letter.

You will leave with a finished mixed-media artwork, a deeper connection to yourself, and a tangible reminder of who you are becoming.

This is not a class. It's a ritual.

This workshop includes hot tea from the tea bar. Bring your favorite cup/mug! There will also be some available for your use at the workshop.

STOP AUDITIONING FOR YOUR LIFE

How much energy are you spending trying to be who you think you're supposed to be?

The perfect employee.
The perfect parent.
The perfect partner.
The version of yourself that keeps everyone comfortable.

In this guided workshop, we'll explore the roles, masks, expectations, and stories that may be keeping you from fully showing up as yourself. Through reflection, discussion, and practical exercises, you'll identify where you're seeking approval, where you're holding back, and what it might look like to stop performing and start living.

Because your life is not a rehearsal, and you don't need another audition! You need permission to be who you already are.

REFLECT (Create • Discover)

THE MIS SOMBRAS EXPERIENCE

Part art exhibit. Part self-discovery. Part creative exploration.

Mis Sombras is an ongoing collection of hand-painted guides, each representing a different lesson, archetype, question, or aspect of the human experience. Every guide carries a message. Every guide has a story. Every guide serves as a mirror.

During this immersive experience, you'll be invited to spend time with the collection, discover the guide calling to you, and explore its message through reflection, storytelling, journaling, and creative expression.

Each participant will receive a Mis Sombras collector zine and shadow work journal designed to help uncover personal insights, hidden strengths, recurring patterns, and the parts of ourselves we often overlook. Through guided prompts and discussion, you'll then be invited to create a piece of art inspired by your own shadows, transforming reflection into something tangible.

No artistic experience is required.

Only curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Come meet the guides.

Leave with a deeper understanding of yourself.

WORDS MATTER

The words you repeat become the stories you believe.

In this creative hand-lettering workshop, you'll learn the foundational anatomy of letterforms while exploring the power of language, affirmation, intention, and self-expression. Through guided instruction, you'll discover how simple letters can be transformed into meaningful works of art while creating a hand-lettered piece centered around a word, phrase, or affirmation that matters to you.

No prior lettering experience is required. Whether your handwriting resembles a doctor's prescription or you've been doodling in the margins for years, you'll leave with new skills, creative confidence, and a finished piece of artwork that's uniquely yours.

Because words matter.

The words you speak. The words you hear. The words you repeat.
And especially the words you tell yourself!

For those of you who don't know, Kelly was a full-time professional hand lettering artist for over half a decade and is in the process of writing a hand lettering workbook.

Grab your girls and join us for a Friday night celebration of movement, confidence, connection, and fun.

We'll kick things off with a conversation led by Kelly about glow ups—the real kind. The kind that happen when you start showing up for yourself, keeping promises to yourself, and making choices that support the life you want to live.

Then we'll turn up the music, switch on the black lights, and let Andi lead us through an energizing Buti Yoga experience filled with movement, sweat, rhythm, and joy.

No experience required. No pressure to perform. Just an opportunity to move your body, raise your energy, and spend an evening surrounded by people who are cheering for themselves and each other.

A Collaboration with Leela Yoga & co-owner Brittnee

Join us for an evening of movement, reflection, connection, and self-expression.

We'll begin in circle with conversation and intention-setting with Kelly before moving into a guided yoga flow led by Brittnee. Under the glow of black lights, participants will be invited to write affirmations, reminders, and words of encouragement directly onto their bodies, creating a shared experience that is equal parts playful, meaningful, and memorable.

Yes, there will be a full 60 minute flow, so bring your mats and water. HOWEVER, this is more than a yoga class.

It's an opportunity to spend an evening pouring some of the energy you give everyone else back into yourself.

Come move.

NEW MOON CIRCLE

Daytime Gathering | 11:00 AM – 12:15 PM

Collaboration with Soulsnap (Katie Lovetro, owner of Kaleidoscope and longtime moon circle facilitator). The new moon marks the beginning of a new cycle—a chance to pause, reflect, and plant seeds for what comes next.

Join us for a guided circle of intention-setting, reflection, journaling, and conversation as we explore what you're ready to call in, cultivate, or create during the month ahead. Together we'll slow down, check in with ourselves, and create space for clarity before the busyness of life pulls us back into motion.

Bring a journal, an open mind, and a willingness to listen to what is emerging.

No experience necessary.

Just come as you are.

This special collaboration with Katie combines guided journaling, discussion, ceremony, and meaningful practices designed to help you release what no longer belongs, clarify what you're calling into your life, and honor the beginning of a new chapter.

Whether you've been following the moon for years or you're simply looking for an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with yourself, this experience offers a beautiful container for reflection, possibility, and renewal.

Come gather in community, and begin again. Bring a journal. Bring your intentions. Bring whatever you're ready to leave behind.

REST & RECEIVE

A Collaboration with Leela Yoga & Marina

The Festival of Whatchawant ends the same way every meaningful transformation should end:

With rest.

After ten days of movement, creativity, conversation, reflection, and possibility, join us for a deeply nourishing restorative experience led by Kelly and Marina. Kelly will start and end the class in circle, and Marina will be guiding you through practice. Using props, blankets, bolsters, breath, and stillness, we'll create space for the body to soften, the nervous system to settle, and the lessons of the week to integrate.

This is not a workout. It's an opportunity to slow down, be supported, and receive. To pause before rushing into what's next, acknowledge how far you've come, and remember that rest is not a reward for productivity—it is part of the process.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you feel cozy.

We'll take care of the rest. Participants will receive a gift from Kelly at the end of the workshop.
