Thrift & Thrive: A Plant-Based Brunch + Sustainable Fashion Show

Sunday, February 22 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Focus & Flow

516 Moore Street, Suite 100 • Baton Rouge, LA

Thrift & Thrive is a community gathering rooted in intentional living, plant-based nourishment, and sustainable style.

This is an afternoon to slow down, share a beautiful meal, and celebrate what’s possible when we choose with care — for our bodies, our closets, and our planet.

What to Expect

🌱 Plant-Based Brunch + Tea Served
A thoughtfully prepared, protein-rich, plant-based brunch designed to delight the tastebuds and the belly — whether you’re fully plant-based or simply curious.

đź‘— Sustainable Fashion Show
A runway featuring local community members modeling 100% sustainable looks.
Every outfit is secondhand, thrifted, consigned, rented, or handed down — nothing is new.

🫶 Connection + Inspiration
This event is about more than food or fashion. It’s about seeing real people, real style, real expression, and real life reflected back in a way that feels accessible, joyful, and aligned.

Who This Is For

• Anyone curious about plant-based living
• Thrifters, re-wear lovers, and sustainable style enthusiasts
• Community-minded humans who value intention over excess
• Anyone craving a brunch that feels nourishing, inspiring, and human

You don’t need to be vegan.
You don’t need to be a fashion expert.
You just need to be yourself.

A Note on Style

Guests are warmly invited (never required) to wear something sustainable — thrifted, secondhand, consigned, rented, or re-worn from your own closet — as part of the shared celebration.

Come comfy. Come cute. Come as you are.

Come as the version of yourself who prioritizes self-expression.

ABOUT THE CURATOR

Thrift & Thrive is curated by Kelly Jackson, a holistic lifestyle educator and creative director who has been plant-based since 2017. For Kelly, plant-based living extends far beyond food — it’s a way of moving through the world with intention, care, and consciousness.

(And yes, this whole outfit was thrifted / handed down... head to toe!)
